Our Lobular Ireland Ladies are doing us proud this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, distributing our ‘What is Lobular’ leaflets and ‘Dense Breast Request Forms’ to all 8 centres of cancer excellence and to breast cancer support centres around Ireland.

Giving us ‘Three in a Row’ with leaflet drops is our very own Lobular Support Group lady Martha Hickey from Cork, who took time out before, during & after her Oncology appointment this week to distribute leaflets.
First drop was to the Orchid Breast Care Centre in Cork University Hospital where leaflets were accepted by the Breast Care Nurse Manager who said ‘there was a lot of discussion around this area in recent times’. Her next drop brought Martha back to where she had her breast cancer treatment – the Oncology Unit at South Infirmary. Last but not least, the final leaflet drop was made to the Breast Cancer Support Nurse at Cork Arc House.
Thank you to Martha for including these drops in her already busy day and to all the units that accepted the leaflets from her on behalf of Lobular Breast Cancer Ireland and Being Dense. Great to see our leaflets finally hit the shelves this month for patients who require information on Lobular Breast Cancer and to patients who have not yet been informed of their breast density.
We are very grateful to all our leaflet distributors, our sponsors and to the European Lobular Breast Cancer Consortium (ELBCC) for making the leaflet available to us for this Campaign.
